The engineer behind Patient Bio

Software Engineer, HealthTech Founder, and builder of AI, blockchain, and SaaS products — based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Sabbir Hossain portrait

Sabbir Hossain is a Software Engineer and HealthTech Founder from Bangladesh. He is the Founder of Patient Bio, a healthcare technology platform focused on patient-owned health records, interoperability, secure data sharing, and AI-powered health infrastructure.

His work sits at the intersection of software engineering, blockchain, AI, and healthcare systems — combining hands-on technical execution with the product judgment that comes from building and running his own startup.

Over 3+ years, Sabbir has shipped production systems across healthcare, blockchain, and AI — from patient data platforms built on Hyperledger Fabric to NFT investment infrastructure on Hyperledger Besu — and represented his work on international stages including Startup World Cup at CES, the Blockchain Olympiad, SPARK, and the Hult Prize.

The best products come from understanding the problem as deeply as the technology. Founders make sharper engineers — they've felt the real cost of getting it wrong.

Approach

How I think about building products

01

Start with the problem, not the stack

Technology choices come after the business or clinical problem is fully understood — not before.

02

Build for compliance and trust from day one

Healthcare and blockchain systems fail if security and auditability are bolted on later. I design for them upfront.

03

Ship, measure, and iterate like a founder

I've felt the pressure of runway and real users — that urgency shapes how I prioritize every build.

Have a project in mind? Let's build something real.
